We are ideally located in the south part of the famous "Plateau Mont-Royal" quarter, one of the finest area of Montreal renown for its picturesque residential architecture, its restaurants, terrasses, boutiques and cultural activities.

At walking distance from La Maison du Jardin

The Sherbrooke Metro Station (5 mn).
The Montreal Central Station, bus terminal where stop the shuttle buses coming from the airport (10 mn).
The Old Montreal (20 mn).
The Latin Quarter, its university, its cinemas and the new Great National Library.
The business downtown (20 mn).
The Lafontaine Park and ist free open air shows and the Square Saint-Louis, both ideal for walking, picnics and jogging.
The night life and cultural activities of the Plateau (theatre, dance, restaurants, bars, terrasses, summer festivals)
The nearby bicycle path going to Old Montreal and Lachine Canal. Bicycle rental at a few steps.

Parking

Parking is free on our street in the allowed area for non residents.
You can rent our private parking for 12$CAD per day.

The rooms

We can accomodate a maximum of 8 people ( 9 people with an additional bed).
3 rooms: single, double and quadruple occupancy.
2 bathrooms : shared or private.

Balcony room :

A charming little room, with a double bed and a private balcony, finely decorated in cheerful provencial style. Shared bathroom with the Mansard room.

Single or double occupancy: 75 CAN$

Mansard room :

A romantic and elegant blue room with a queen size bed, antiques and dormer window. Shared bathroom with Balcony room.

Single or double occupancy: 90 CAN$

Garden room :

Spacious bright and comfortable room on the ground floor, with two double beds, a writing table, a private bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) and private access and view to the garden.

Single occupancy: 120 CAN$,
Double occupancy: 140 CAN$,

Additional person: 20 CAN$ per adult, 10 CAN$ for child under 18

All rates are in Canadian dollars - tax on lodging per day ( 3%), federal and provincial taxes to be added.

A complete and delicious breakfast is included.

Breakfast

Healthy and full breakfast made of first quality products, such as a tasty fruit juice, choice of breads and cereals, fresh croissant, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, waffles, a variety of jams, tea, coffee or hot chocolate..

Living-room

Our cosy living-room with its wooden fireplace, its hard wood floor and its 18 feet high bricks wall circled by a mezzanine. Common areas are air conditionned in summertime.

Apartment for tourists

For tourists and travelers, the Garden House proposes also an apartment of 5 1/2 rooms located in a beautiful Victorian building on Saint-André St., a few steps of the Garden House, all furnished and equipped with taste.

TARIFS: 150$ per night for the entire appartment, 900$ per week, minimum stay 3 nights.

For a room with queen or double bed for 90$ or 85$ per night ( shared bathroom).

We are interested in travels, arts, nature and health issues. We will be happy to advise you during your stay in Montreal.

We speak French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Note: We are a no smoking bed & breakfast.

Cancellation policy

According to our cancellation policy, our guests have 10 days before the first day of their reservation to cancel without penalty except 25$ as administration fee. Cancellation fee of 50% will be charged for every night cancelled less than 10 days and more that 72 hours in advance. Cancellation fee of 100% will be charged for every night cancelled less that 72 hours in advance. This cancellation policy also applies in case our guests decide to leave earlier during their stay.
